15 Must-have apps for ecommerce entrepreneurs

Whether it’s tracking your calories for the day or booking a table at a restaurant, there’s an app for everything these days – and the same goes for the world of ecommerce! With so many apps on the market, it’s hard to pick out the ones that will actually help you do more rather than take up space on your phone. Sound familiar? Not to worry! Between what we use day-to-day and what we recommend for our clients, we’ve got a pretty good grasp on the apps that are must-haves for any ecommerce business. 

Shopify Apps

ReCharge


Good for: Recurring Payments

Put simply, ReCharge powers subscriptions and recurring payments for your Shopify store. If you’ve ever been thinking of getting into the subscription game, then this is a must. ReCharge makes it easy to manage inventory forecasting, cut-off dates, and more.

However, you don’t just have to use it for subscription services; you can quickly add a “Subscribe and Save” option making it easy for customers who regularly order products from your store and creating a consistent, loyal customer base.

Back In Stock
Good for: Customer Experience

Selling out of a product is great, but a disappointed potential customer isn’t! Make sure you’re not losing customers by installing this neat app that alerts customers when products they’re interested in come back in stock. The app is easy to set-up and works automatically, sending instant alerts to customers so they can come back to your store and make a purchase. It even drills down to the variant level, so your customers can get notified when a product in their selected size or color is back in stock.

Good for: Backups

Similar to Basecamp, Trello is great for better organization within teams. Trello is list-based, giving a more visual view of projects and tasks. Good for: Task automation

Zapier integrates and connects apps you’re already working with, allowing information to be passed between them and tasks to be completed automatically. It’s simple and straightforward to set up a new workflow, all you need to do is tell Zapier what the trigger for an action is, what it needs to do, and it gets to work immediately.

Good for: Password management

It’s hard enough remembering your personal passwords nevermind passwords you need for your team. If you’re onboarding a new team member, the last thing you want to be doing is trying to remember what the password for the brand Instagram account is! Good for: Instagram Stories

Designing Instagram Story templates that stand out can be the difference in making your brand look professional and in the know.
